We truly want this experience to be worry-free, so we offer refunds, including shipping, on products with Sneak Peeks, and work with you to make it right on orders without Sneak Peeks.

Creating a custom keepsake is a special experience, and we are dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction! This policy outlines the conditions under which you may request a refund for your order, and other policies related to our other products, as well.

  • For an additional fee, you can choose the Sneak Peek + Design Guarantee option during checkout. This allows you to review photos of your custom Petsies plush before it ships and provide feedback or changes before the plushie is sent to you. 

  • If you are not satisfied with the design after working with our team on revisions, you can request a full refund, including shipping fees. 

  • If you approve the Sneak Peek photos and the items are shipped to you, then it waives the ability for full refunds, as you've approved your plush as is.

Important:

  • To ensure email delivery of your sneak peek photos, please add [email protected] to your address book to avoid missing emails.

  • Be sure to review and approve the design within 72 hours. Orders not reviewed within this timeframe will be considered approved.

Our Standard Return Policy

What if my Budsie arrives with a tear?

Budsies are gentle creatures, and the mail trucks can be bumpy rides. Before they leave our care, Budsies are carefully packaged to protect them as much as possible.

If a Budsie arrives damaged, our team will:

  • Complete a repair

  • Replace your Budsie

  • Issue you a refund.

Send our team a picture of the damage and your order number to [email protected].

I don't like how my Budsie turned out

Please be kind in your requests, and we'll work with you to find a solution. We usually do not offer refunds on custom products, because our artists have already been paid for the work, and we cannot resell the item being returned. However, we have a few options:

  • Create a completely new Budsie or Selfie with your specific direction at a discounted rate of $50, Supersized Remakes will be an additional $10.

  • Our Specialty Commission remakes are $85, Supersized Specialty Commission remakes are $95.

Disclaimer: We here at Budsies provide a service as well as a product. Due to this, returning your product without being directed to do so by one of our team members will not guarantee the return of your funds.

Can I change my mind or cancel my order?

Absolutely - as long as it's before we've started working on your Budsie. We keep you updated at each step in bringing your artwork to life, so you can expect an email telling you when your Budsie has passed its art review, or check the status in your account!

Note: Our printed products (such as shirts, pillows, socks and pajamas) go straight to print, so please make sure your image is correct and any cancellations or changes are made within 24 hours

My Budsie Arrived Late (or hasn't arrived at all)

We do our very best to get custom plushies created and delivered on time, but because they are hand-made, sometimes we need a little more time, which is why our turnaround times are always estimates .

Here's what to do:

  • Visit your account page to see your status; we keep you updated on every stage of the process.

  • If you're order is delayed, please write [email protected] and we'll personally check in on it.

  • If you paid extra for expedited creation + delivery and your Budsie arrived after the guaranteed date, we will refund your expedited charges.

  • US Postal Service Errors can happen. If they lose your Budsie or deliver it to the wrong address, we'll work with you and USPS to fix the situation (or make a whole new Budsie for you).

As a reminder: our only guaranteed delivery times are for Rush Turnaround orders.

Limited Craftsmanship Warranty:

Our #1 goal at Budsies is to create a wonderful experience from start to finish!

  • We offer a 90-day limited warranty on all Budsies, Selfies, Puppet, and Specialty custom stuffed animals. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur within 90 days of purchase.

  • If your item arrives with a defect or one develops within 90 days, we will repair or replace the plush at no charge to you.

Non-Refundable Items

Products excluded from refunds include: Gift cards, bobbleheads and figurines, apparel and other printed items (blankets, socks, pajamas, pillows, portraits, accessories, etc.), unless there is a design defect. 

For domestic orders - customers are responsible for original shipping and return shipping costs, unless Sneak Peek was added, in which case shipping costs would be refunded.  

For international orders - shipping, duties/taxes and rush will not be refundable, unless Sneak Peek was added, in which case shipping costs would be refunded.  

In addition to what’s mentioned above, customers using the Sneak Peek upgrade may be ineligible for specific warranties because those customers reviewed and approved the design of their plush. Furthermore, failures due to misuse, abuse, alteration, or normal wear and tear of the product are not covered by this limited warranty. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Some parts will wear out with use and fabrics will deteriorate and fade over time. And while we choose the best materials available for the application, all materials degrade over time with use and exposure to the elements. Like any keepsake, we recommend keeping your custom plush out of direct sunlight and other natural elements that could degrade the materials.

It is our experience that a product that fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship will generally do so very early in the product's life cycle, often the first or second time the product is examined and handled. When returned for inspection, these products are generally found to still be in like-new or very good condition and show very little signs of use. It is uncommon for a product that was manufactured with a defect, to survive under normal use for any extended period of time. The most common demand for service is the result of normal wear and tear issues, which are not considered to be a defect in materials or workmanship. Petsies has sole discretion to determine the manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.

Other conditions may limit coverage:

  • Repetitive abuse of our limited warranty.

  • Coverage is always limited to the maximum value of a replacement of the product with the same or similar product of equal value to the original purchase price and does not cover the repair, refund, or replacement of any other property. Budsies shall never be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages.

Additional Terms:

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND REFUND POLICY AND LIABILITY SET FORTH HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN NEGLIGENCE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN LAW OR IN FACT. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE PRODUCT WARRANTY. PETSIES DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY PERSON TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND REFUND POLICY TO THE CONTRARY, PETSIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL AND/OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, STRICT LIABILITY OR NEGLIGENCE), PATENT INFRINGEMENT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. PETSIES’ MAXIMUM LIABILITY HEREUNDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS. This warranty is for the BUDSIES product itself and does not cover the repair or replacement of other personal property that may be used with OR NEAR the BUDSIES product.

How Local Laws Relate to the Warranty & Refund Policy

Some areas do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or how long an implied warranty lasts, so that the above limitations may not fully apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state, province to province, or country to country. Refer to your local laws for your specific rights under this limited warranty.

This limited warranty & refund policy is the sole and exclusive warranty for Petsies products. No employee, agent, dealer, or other person is authorized to alter this warranty or make any other warranty on.
