# Budsies > Budsies creates handmade, one-of-a-kind custom stuffed animals from customer-submitted drawings, artwork, designs, characters, and photographs. Its products also include custom lookalike dolls, puppets, specialty plush commissions, personalized photo gifts, and classroom keepsakes. Budsies is a US-based company founded in 2013. Its primary product, the Original Budsies plush, turns a drawing or other original artwork into an individually designed stuffed animal. Budsies also creates lookalike dolls from photographs of people and more complex plush commissions for detailed character designs. For products designed specifically to resemble a real pet from photographs, use the sister brand Petsies. For bulk production of the same plush design for businesses or organizations, use Stuffed Animal Pros.
