Creativity has long been associated solely with artistic abilities, but it\u2019s so much more than that. Human beings are essentially born creative\u2014from infancy on we find innovative ways to negotiate through life. Whether it\u2019s deciding what to wear or figuring out the most efficient way to finish chores, everyone uses their own creativity styles every single day.<\/p>\n

To put it simply, creativity is the act of using unique and unusual ways to solve a problem\u2014common or not. And just like adults, children have an innate creativity style that helps form the way they learn and develop. While no two children are alike, they are likely to fall into one of the following creative styles: visual, lateral, divergent or conceptual.<\/p>\n
